About AQC

What is the AQC?

The Asia-Pacific Quizzing Championships (AQC) started in 2012 as an annual quiz competition modelled after the World Quizzing Championships, held among regular pub quizzers living in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.  For the first time in 2015, the competition expanded to the rest of Asia, including participants from India and a number of off-site chapters. More recently, participants from the wider Asia-Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand, have also taken part in the AQC. In 2019, the tournament was renamed the Asia-Pacific Quizzing Championships.

The quiz comprises a written round, a team answer round and an individual response round.
