What is the AQC?
The Asian Quizzing Championships (AQC) started in 2012 as an annual quiz competition modelled after the World Quizzing Championships, held among regular pub quizzers living in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. For the first time in 2015, the competition included participants from India and a number of off-site chapters. AQC 2015 was held on 29 November 2015 (Sunday) in Singapore.
AQC 2016 was held on 4 December 2016 (Sunday) in Singapore at McGettigan’s Clarke Quay from 10:00am – 4:00pm. The quiz comprised a written round, a team answer round and an individual response round.
AQC 2015 and AQC 2016 questions are set by Mr Caleb Liu, with inputs from non-participating quizzers from around the world.
